The 4 Xtreme Employee Pillars

We all know, different jobs require different skills and attributes. There is a big difference between the abilities and attributes of a warehouse worker, an auto parts delivery driver, and a bookkeeper. However, here at Xtreme, there are four key traits that we require of each of our employees on every job we fill. We call these the 4  Xtreme Employee Pillars. These are summed up below:

1. Attitude. This one of the most important attributes of anyone for anything! How we feel and think about our work and our employers will make all the difference in our performance and in our sense of satisfaction. We ask each employee to be as positive and as upbeat about their work and place of employment as possible. There is always honor in a job well done and just knowing that can contribute to a positive mental frame of mind.

2. Attendance. This is pretty basic but so important. Please show up to work when scheduled. Your employers need you to be there! Make every effort to attend each shift and, if time off is necessary, please make arrangements well in advance so your shift can be covered by someone else. Show up on time and stay the full shift. Don’t abuse any break time allotted. 

3. Appearance. Be well groomed. Just because a job might not require a suit and tie does not mean that our appearance does not matter. Dress appropriately for whatever job you may doing. If in doubt, dress a little better than you think you need to. 

4. Performance. Do your best every day. Take pride in your work and let that be seen in how you do your job. If you don’t know how to do a task, be sure to ask your supervisor for instructions or clarifications. Be willing to go the extra mile and ask for additional training when possible.
